Plants are dispatched bare rooted with the rhizome wrapped in wet tissue paper and placed in sealed plastic bags. The bags are then securely packed in sturdy boxes with soft paper.
Plant are sold in three sizes, small medium or large. The actual measurements are difficult to give as different cultivars grow to different sizes. However, a small plant would be about 1 year old, a medium 2 years old and a large over 3 years old. These ages are for plants grown from division, plus an additional year in each case for plant grown from seed.
All photographs on this website show typical examples of the mature plants described, and are meant for illustrative purposes only. They do not represent pictures of the actual plants dispatched, which may be young immature specimens.
It is important to note that most Venus Fly Traps require direct sunlight to achieve their best colouration. Indirect light or filtered light (e.g. through glass) may result in the colours of some varieties not developing to their best. However, this does NOT affect the health of the plant and the functioning of the traps.

Postage and packaging.cheap venus flytraps
Postage and packaging is worked out automatically for all orders depending on the number of plants purchased and your location. The amount will be shown on the order summary screen after your postal address has been input, or if you are a previous customer when your details have been retrieved and confirmed.
Currently orders are not taken for countries outside the E.E.C.
Availability of ordered goodscheap venus flytraps
If certain articles cannot be shipped due to circumstances not caused by and beyond the responsibility of Just Venus Fly Traps, the customer receives either a credit note or a refund by the same method as the payment was received.
Paymentcheap venus flytraps
Payment can be made via PayPal (please see their terms and conditions) or by cheque. If sending a cheque (payable to I. D. Davies) you can receive an invoice by email or print it from the website. Please return the invoice or at the least the invoice number and your name with the cheque.
Paypal fees are included in the price. Although paying by cheque does not incur a fee, it involves a journey to the bank, so the price of the plants are the same which ever way you decide to pay.
In the case of cheques, if payment is not received within two (2) weeks after the invoice date, the order will automatically be cancelled and reserved items are offered again in the shop.
Shipmentcheap venus flytraps
All orders are dispatched as soon as possible usually on the same day by first class post. There may be a slight delay if ordering on the weekend.
Delivery - please allow up to 5 days for delivery from receipt of order if you are paying by PayPal, or ten days if you are paying by cheque. The extra time for the latter is for the cheque to arrive and clear. All plants will be shipped during a frost-free periods, so in winter months (i.e. from mid-October to end of March) there may be a delay until milder conditions return. The customer may however, requests an immediate dispatch during this time at their own risk.
Please specify any special instructions during the ordering process, such as a delayed delivery etc.
Complaints, Cancellation / Returncheap venus flytraps
All material is supplied in best state and free of any damage and disease on the day of dispatch. Just Venus Fly Traps, does not accept responsibility for any damages, which may occur during transport. Any damage occurring during transport should be taken up with the carrier.
On arrival please check the plants straight away. If you find that they are not as specified contact Just Venus Fly Traps by email ( select 'Orders and Billing' on the Contact Us screen) within 3 days of receipt of the goods. If we are happy that the plants are not as specified the customer will be given instructions for returning the plants (in their original packaging). A replacement, credit note or a refund, including postage will then be issued. For any returns, which has not been approved by Just Venus Fly Traps, as well as for all late complaints, no replacement, credit note or refund will be given.
